Students' F's Highlight Problems in Electronic Course at U. of Iowa
More than half of the 1,900 students in an experimental on-line course at the University of Iowa received F's on their midterm report cards.
The failing students should not have been surprised, however, because none of them had even started the program, which is designed to be self-paced.
